Dad, Husband, brother, son, cousin, Uncle, Friend, and much more. I spent my teens and twenties addicted to alcohol. I Spent my 30’s and 40’s raising two kids and learning how to be a husband present in every moment. I haven’t quite figured out the “living in the present” aspect of my life.
My wife and I have two children. Jacob was born in 2000 and Ana followed him in 2003. They are both honest, loyal, and empathetic. In April of 2019 Jacob was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Our lives changed forever. Jacob died after a beautiful battle.
I write about life, addiction, grief, and all sorts of other fun stuff. This is how I heal. Hopefully, I can help you too.
